How much does it cost to take pilates reformer sessions?
Prices for Pilates sessions vary depending on the studio you are attending, the type of Pilates they teach, the experience of the teachers, and whether the teachers are healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists or Musculoskeletal podiatrists. Some studios may be set up in an instructor's home or home Garage. Some studios may be on commercial premises, and some studios may have many participants in their classes. Whereas some may have smaller class numbers, offering more semi-private sessions.
The cost of Pilates, therefore, does vary. Here at the rehab hub, our Pilates sessions are unique compared to other studios within Glasgow. Our Pilates instructors are also qualified health professionals and Pilates teachers, some physiotherapists and others sports medicine podiatrists. Our clinic and studio focus more on clients with more complex health needs. Possibly osteoarthritis, knee pain, Plantar Fasciitis, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiac, or lower back pain our the main focus at the rehab hub in Glasgow is ensuring our clients get the best possible results from the Pilates sessions we take.
Here we offer larger group classes where a maximum of eight people are in the larger sessions, all working on the reformer machine. The other option is the semi-private Pilates sessions, where we have a maximum of four clients. In these sessions, we utilise the reformer with half trapeze small props, foam rollers, spine correctors, ladder barrel, Pilates chair and more. We also offer a full service of individualised, one-to-one sessions.
Another differential factor differentiating us from other Pilates studios locally is that we require you to undertake a Pilates beginners course before commencing with any of our semi-private or group pilates reformer sessions. Therefore, no matter your starting point or experience of utilising the reformer, possibly at a different studio, everyone must go through the beginner's course to participate in our sessions.
We chose to run things this way because we must be safe. Ensuring you understand the machine because not all reformer machines are created equally. You feel comfortable in the environment. But most importantly, we get to spend some time with you getting to know your body, possible limitations and goals that you have. We have found with over 24 years now of teaching. This works better because we get to invest time into you and allow you and afford you that time to ensure your practice starts correctly. In the long run, this will improve your Pilates results and outcomes.
The main difference between other studios and us is we specialise in clients with more specialised requirements who may need to be attended by healthcare professionals, possibly seeing us for different conditions and utilising pilates reformer as the rehabilitation tool of choice. Or your perhaps looking for a joined-up health and rehab approach linking your injury or health condition with your rehab.
